Job Overview:

We seek a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in managing and optimizing Linux-based GPU systems, particularly for streaming applications and high-scale web services. You will focus on performance, security, and automation for platforms like Flussonic, Infomir Ministra, and other high-demand streaming servers. This position requires strong skills in Docker, GPU management, and scripting to support the needs of our high-traffic, low-latency streaming applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Performance Optimization: Manage and optimize Linux-based systems with dedicated GPUs to ensure optimal streaming performance on platforms like Flussonic, Infomir Ministra, and other high-demand services.
• Docker Deployment & Orchestration: Develop, deploy, and manage Docker containers for GPU-enabled streaming and web applications, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
• Automation & Scripting: Implement automated workflows and scripts using Bash, Python, or relevant languages to simplify deployment, configuration, and scaling.
• Security & Compliance: Maintain security best practices, manage patches, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure a secure environment.
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Set up robust monitoring tools for real-time system health, performance metrics, and GPU utilization, ensuring stability for high-traffic applications.
• Configuration Management: Use tools like Ansible or Puppet to automate configurations and ensure consistency across environments.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with development and networking teams to support streaming and web services at scale, maintaining high availability and low latency.
• Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation on configurations, processes, and troubleshooting for continuity and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field; equivalent experience also considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps role with a focus on Linux and GPU-based systems, preferably within video streaming and high-scale web environments.

Technical Skills:

• Linux Systems: Advanced knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat) with a focus on GPU optimization.
• Containerization: Proficiency with Docker and Docker Compose, with experience managing GPU-enabled containers and large-scale deployments.
• Streaming Platforms: Hands-on experience with streaming software (Flussonic, Infomir Ministra), streaming protocols (RTMP, HLS), and video transcoding.
• GPU Management: Expertise in managing dedicated GPU resources, including monitoring and optimization for streaming applications.
• Automation & Scripting: Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash) for system configuration and automation tasks.
• Configuration Management: Familiarity with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for consistent environment management.
• Monitoring Tools: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and GPU monitoring tools for performance management.
• Security: Knowledge of best practices for security, vulnerability assessments, and patch management in high-performance environments.

Soft Skills:

• Strong problem-solving skills in real-time, high-performance settings.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working remotely.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in DevOps.
